Meet our artisan Lola!

Lola recalls that she has been working as a beadwork artisan since she was 14 years old because she comes from a poor family.

She has worked as an artisan with various groups, usually doing different little pieces of a design, but she likes her work with WoH the best. Here she gets to do different designs, completing the entire design. And more importantly, it is consistent work with a fair wage. Her two favorite designs are the Dog and the Standing Angel.

Grateful to have this job and hoping for a better future for her children, 15 (Magdalena) and 7 (Andres) years old. Lola receives educational sponsorship for her daughter Magdalena twho is in middle school.

Lola began working for WoH in 2023 with the help of her sister-in-law, Elena, who introduced her to this ministry.

Lola's birthday is January 5th 

Lola's prayer request is for her family to continue in good health.
