Meet our artisan Juanita!

When asked about her dreams, Juanita smiles and explains, I am working in a dream come true right here at Women of Hope Guatemala. When Juanita’s younger sister suffered with a severe illness, the family’s resources were greatly stretched with medical costs. At a young age Juanita learned to work with beads in order to help her family survive. 

Now working for WoH, Juanita says she doesn’t just benefit financially. She’s also thankful for the help that is strengthening her spiritual walk. She longs to grow as a believer in Christ and enjoys attending church and working in the children’s ministry. 

Juanita’s favorite ornaments to create at WoH are the beaded Gnomes and Cardinals. Through her art and from her heart, she expresses an appreciation for the ministry that has come to make such a difference for her and her family.
