Meet our artisan Andrea!

Meet Andrea talented bead artist and embroiderer. Her story is a great example of how Women of Hope is not just changing lives but is changing the future for generations! Born and raised in Santiago, Andrea started learning beadwork as a teenager. In 2019, following in the steps of her grandmother and mother, Andrea also started to work with WoH.

Andrea found that becoming an artisan was also a great way to further her education. With an educational sponsorship, Andrea now pursues a bachelor’s degree in English. She hopes afterward to find employment to put her new language skills to use. Andrea gives thanks to God and to the kind, generous donors and customers of Women of Hope for the huge generational blessing they are to her and her family.
