Meet our artisan Ana!

Ana recalls that her early years coming from a poor family with no running water. Ana was tasked with hauling containers of water, from the lake after school each day. Grateful to have attended school and hoping for a better future for her own children, Ana prayed for a good job. God answered her prayers when her half-sister told her about the ministry of Women of Hope. 

Ana initially began working for WoH as an occasional weaver and seamstress. Then in February 2022, she began learning to bead as well. Ana’s earnings provide a stable wage that helps her and her spouse Jaime care for their two children, 17 and 23 years old. Ana thanks God often for placing WoH in her life and is grateful for all who support the ministry.
