Style Painted Sleeve

This bamboo outer, with stainless inner, travel mug is perfected with one of the 2 style mug sleeves. One style sleeve is beautifully hand painted by a  Guatemalan artist, Diego Chavez from Santiago Atitlan Guatemala. The other, with the same scene, is etched leather by the same artisan.

The beautiful lake scene sleeves have snap closures to make them easy to remove for cleaning your mug. The canvas sleeve has a backing of suede to keep it in place just as securely as the leather sleeve.

In addition to the beautiful mug and sleeve, we have joined with our friends, the Leiva family to bring you an 8oz bag their amazing Guatemalan coffee. The entire set comes in a nice burlap drawstring bag featuring repurposed Guatemalan material, previously worn as a skirt. This beautiful bagged set makes a great gift for your favorite coffee drinker!  Or treat yourself to this set, you'll be glad you did. And perfect for Father's Day!

The story behind this coffee is wonderful! The Leiva family were some of our director, Tina's, first Guatemalan friends. She visited their coffee farm in 2008 and helped them bring a team to minister to the community where their coffee is grown. The Leiva's bring coffee from the coffee plant to your mug. Their workers get a fair living wage, the one of Leiva's sons roasts and distributes their coffee from where he lives in Arkansas. Read more of their story, I promise you will be inspired! Leiva's Coffee

Diego is an amazing artist with his own gallery in Santiago. And has signed each of the sleeves.  We are hoping to partner with Diego with some of his framed art pieces in the near future, combining his beautiful paintings with bead work. We will update you soon!
